In October 2018, thousands of predominantly women workers across the city of Glasgow went on strike for equal pay. On the second anniversary of the strike, we caught up with @GMBGlasgowCC reps Shona Thomson and Frances Stojilkovic, to hear their memories from the strike.
"Pay is the priority, not reform" An important update for our NHS members, ahead of Tuesday's STAC meeting, which will discuss terms of agreement for the 2021 pay negotiations. The mistakes of the current pay deal cannot be repeated, and lessons need to be learned.
